OHIO ASSOCIATION OF CHEERLEADING COACHES (OACC)
About


Cheerleading is one of the fastest growing youth sports in the world! The OACC gives you quality programs, services and communications. You will also receive information on other state and national cheer organizations and events.
Committees


The OACC is designed to help on a state and local level to develop effective partnerships, strengthen outreach, broaden the agenda, and successfully secure responsiveness to your organization’s needs. The OACC is a catalyst for change by utilizing sector strategies. Committee Chairs work to support members, you will get information, news, views, updates and membership discounts.
Districts


By having a network of representatives the OACC can discuss and exchange information about current issues facing cheerleading programs at all levels of participants. The 8 Districts allow opportunites to interact and network with your colleages. Our Network of representatives is on call and available. As a District Rep you report on the “climate” of the area you represent. The OACC lends guidance to meet your particular needs and the needs of the members and partners.

Coaches


The OACC guides you in running a better program, teaching youth athletes, and gaining self-improvement. You will have opportunities for education and training, certifications,learn methods of team building,technical and tactical information. You have access to your peers, news, events and a catalouge of resources.
Athletic Directors/Program Directors


As the Director of a School Athletic Department or Director of Youth League or the Director of a private facility you will find information that helps you in managing, directing and controlling the unique activity of cheerleading.

You'll gain insights to the industry, stay abreast of common practices and be aware of new trends. You can stay proactive in the fastest growing girls' youth sport in the world! 

Until now many directors have been reactive.  Reactive to growth, reactive to risk management, reactive to needs, reactive to organization. The OACC has resources, forms, education workshops and information to keep you progressing as a director.  Some of the coursework carries CEU Credits.

Cheerleaders are natural leaders. They are the Ambassadors of Sportsmanship and community pride, all while supporting the institution's mission.  The OACC will foster and empower you to take an active and responsible role and to guide you to be a leader of tomorrow.
