It's very common to find cheerleading results posted in the gym the day after tryouts or on the door of the athletic office. Some results are posted the very same day, others post the results within a specified time (usually 3 days on the outside).
Here are the most common methods of posting:
- Post list of new cheerleaders in the school gymnasium.
- Announce new squad members over the PA system during morning announcements.
- Posted on the (inside) of the school or facilities locked doors.
- Published on the Website
- Pick up Individual sealed result letters in main office or athletic office.
- Cheer coach personally hands notice and scores to each cheerleader with a brief congrats or tips on what to improve upon at next tryout.
Two new tips:
Collegiate Coach uses email correspondance to notify each candidate. If they made the team, the correspondence includes reminders of meetings, monies and upcoming events. He/she utilizes school email adress for notification, not his/her personal email address that's used for corresponding with the team and parents pre/during and post season. The only recipient copied on this email is the Athletic Director.
Black River High School Coach posts the results on the inside of the school's glass door. She posts by Tryout Candidate Number only! No names posted.
