Clinics and tryouts are held at the Convocation Center
Begin at 6:00pm on Friday, May 4 and continue at 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday.
Tryouts will be at 9:00am on Sunday, May 6th. You must be invited back for each clinic and the tryout by the coaching staff.
Incoming freshman are eligible to attend provided they have a copy of their acceptance letter to the University and if under 18 years of age, must have a guardian sign a release form and an assumption of risk waiver. All participants attending the tryout must provide a copy of their insurance information.
For the clinics and tryouts you must wear athletic attire (preferably hunter green and white), no baggy clothing, cheer shoes, no lotion, no jewelry, and hair pulled up.
The requirements for the Ohio cheer program are a standing back tuck, jump connected to tumbling, running tumbling, 2 elite partner stunts, dance, cheer, flexibility and jumps. For more detailed information, please view the cheer page on the Ohio web site.
