Dance, Dance, Dance
|
| |
Each student at your school, gym or organization can participate in a dance-a-thon. Give it a 60's or 70's era theme. Students, teachers and parent volunteers are encouraged to dress up. Instead of flat-rate admission charge, students can collect pledges for participating.
A lot of fun for everyone and raise a lot of money that can be shared with the school. This also supported and promoted physical fitness and staying active (Make sure coaches and P.E.are there).
Ask a parent, teacher to play DJ. If you have to hire a DJ do it - the music quality and mix is important. Decorate to fit the theme, use some cool lighting. You could possibly raise thousands of dollars.
