Baldwin-Wallace PROFESSOR OF DANCE The Department of Theatre and Dance at Baldwin-Wallace College invites applicants for a 3-Year renewable position in dance starting fall semester, 2009. MFA or professional equivalency in Dance required, with demonstrated teaching expertise and proven professional experience. Responsibilities include: teach beginning through advanced technique courses in 3 of the following areas: Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Modern; background in Musical Theatre Styles; continue to build and strengthen dance minor; choreograph departmental productions as needed; coordinate annual dance concert; advise students; assist colleagues in overseeing departmental functions/organizations and fulfilling college-wide committees. We will begin hiring in January. Cheer Coach needed to teach children’s 8 week cheerleading program one day per week starting mid February. The cheerleading coach position available is to teach children between the ages of 5-14 basic cheers, chants, jumps and a pom routine. A video will be provided so that you can learn the cheers, chants etc. to teach the class.
The program is 8 weeks long, one day per week for 2 ½ hours. We separate the ages by doing three 40-minute classes with a small break in between. Ages 5 & 6 would be in one class, ages 7 & 8 in the second class and ages 9-14 in the last class.
The Head Coach will be paid $1.00 per student. We usually sign up between 50-100 students. This means that the Head Coach would make $50-$100 per day. Head coach will never make less than $50 per day. Assistant Coach makes a set fee of $40 per day.

Cheerleading Coach Marietta College seeks a part-time Cheerleading Coach. Duties include, but are not limited to: supervision of cheerleaders at all practices and home athletic events (football and men’s and women’s basketball); provide conditioning and training for the squad; conduct fundraising events to cover the purchases and competition travel; meet and/or communicate with prospective students and parents that have an interest in the program; arrange use of campus facilities for practices, performances or competition; make necessary travel arrangements to support away contests; and any other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. Qualifications include: previous cheer coaching at the high school or college level; maturity necessary to conduct safety-oriented stunting program; excellent communication skills; ability to self-police in absence of national or regional governing body; NCSSE certification; AACA certification and certification in stunting.
